✨ FIRST TIME CLIENTS

I’ve never had a spray tan… will I look orange?
Absolutely not. We custom blend each spray tan to your skin tone for a natural, flawless result — never orange. What can cause a tan to turn orange is improper aftercare or certain products used at home, not the spray tan itself. We go over all aftercare instructions and product recommendations with you at your appointment to ensure your tan fades evenly and beautifully.

What makes Sunne House different?

✨ WHAT TO EXPECT

What happens at my appointment?
Your visit takes place in a private room inside our beautiful lakeside salon, creating a relaxing, luxury experience from start to finish. Your appointment includes:

  • Consultation + custom color matching

  • Skin prep

  • Fully customized airbrush application

  • Drying + finishing touches

We guide you through every step, so no experience is needed. Before you leave, we also provide personalized aftercare education and product recommendations to ensure your tan develops properly, lasts longer, and fades evenly.

Optional upgrades:

  • Infrared sauna

  • Red light therapy

  • Teeth whitening

  • Facial services

✨ PREP INSTRUCTIONS

  • If you have sensitive skin or any skin conditions, please notify your technician before your appointment. We do NOT spray over sunburned skin. Your spray tan should be your last beauty service before your event (including waxing, nails, facials, etc.).

    Exfoliate your entire body 24–48 hours prior using a non-oil based exfoliant, paying extra attention to dry areas like elbows, knees, and ankles. If you don’t have an exfoliant, you may use a washcloth with brown sugar. This removes dead skin and helps your tan last longer and develop evenly.

    Shaving or waxing should be done at least 24 hours before your appointment — do NOT do this the same day. (Manicures/pedicures should also be done a few days before.)

    On the day of your appointment, arrive with clean, dry skin. Do not apply lotion, oils, deodorant, makeup, or perfume, as these can create a barrier and cause uneven results. Shower at least 4–6 hours prior using a non-moisturizing soap.

    Wear loose, dark clothing and flip flops if possible. Avoid tight clothing or undergarments, as they can rub against the skin and cause streaking or patchiness. Loose dresses are ideal.

✨ AFTERCARE

Your aftercare is just as important as your prep. How you care for your skin after your appointment will determine how your tan develops, how long it lasts, and how evenly it fades.

  • Rinse time will depend on the solution chosen at your appointment — always follow your technician’s recommended rinse time

  • Typically, wait 8–12 hours before rinsing (unless instructed otherwise for rapid rinse)

  • Your first rinse should be water only (no soap)

  • After your first rinse, begin moisturizing daily to maintain an even, longer-lasting tan

Product choice is extremely important. Using the wrong products is the #1 reason tans fade unevenly or shift in color.

  • Avoid harsh, heavily fragranced, or sulfate-heavy products such as Dove, Olay, Dial, Bath & Body Works, EOS, and similar drugstore brands, as they can break down your tan and cause it to turn orange or fade unevenly

  • For best results, use gentle, sulfate-free, tan-safe body wash and moisturizers

👉 We carry a curated line of tan-safe products in the salon and will go over recommendations with you at your appointment

  • Avoid pools, hot tubs, long baths, and exfoliating products, as these will cause your tan to fade faster

👉 Your tan typically lasts 6–10 days, depending on your skin and aftercare routine

✨ RAPID RINSE

Rapid rinse allows you to shower sooner, but it does NOT mean your tan develops faster.

  • Rinse timing varies based on the solution used — always follow your technician’s recommended rinse time

  • As a general guideline:

    • 1 hour = lighter result

    • 2 hours = medium

    • 3+ hours = darker

👉 Important: Your color will continue to fully develop over 24 hours, regardless of when you rinse.

🚫 Rapid rinse does NOT mean rapid development — your tan still needs time to deepen after your first rinse.

👉 For this reason, we do NOT recommend tanning the same day as your event, even with a rapid rinse solution.

✨ ADD-ONS

Can I add services to my tan?

Yes! We recommend enhancing your visit with:

  • Infrared sauna (detox + glow boost)

  • Red light therapy (skin + collagen benefits)

  • Teeth whitening

👉 These services can be booked separately or added to your appointment. Please add them at the time of booking or notify your technician in advance, as we are by appointment only and may not be able to accommodate additional time for add-ons last minute.

Can I come just for sauna or red light?
Yes! All spa services can be booked with or without a spray tan.

✨ POLICIES

What is your cancellation policy?
Please notify us if you’re running late or need to cancel. We are by appointment only, and our technicians may travel for your service.

Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance by contacting your technician directly. Late cancellations will be charged 50% of the service, and no-shows will be charged 100%. Arriving more than 10 minutes late will be considered a no-show and must be rescheduled. If you have sessions on your account, one may be deducted in place of the fee. All sales are final.

For the comfort and safety of all clients, no children or additional guests are permitted unless they have an appointment. If you arrive with guests, your appointment will be rescheduled and a cancellation fee will apply.
